It is evidenced by polls and Tea Party’s many of us are concerned and angry about our governments spending ways and the deaf ear they turn to their constituents. The process of taxpayer money going to companies that then give generously to the political campaigns needs to end. It is a small but important start in gaining some control of our government.

We all send on jokes and e-mail, take the time to send the following on to friends and most of all your U.S. Representatives and the President. Ask for a response to your request.

We can make a difference but we must speak up. This is no joke and is worth sending it on.

We need a bill that stops the flow of taxpayer money funding companies and organizations that then fund the political campaigns of the elected officials that gave them the money. The ones really paying for these campaign contributions are current and future tax payers (our children and grandchildren). We (and they) have no say in whose campaigns are funded.

We need a bill to prohibit any organization or corporation or individual receiving TARP, Stimulus funds, or Government Sponsored Enterprises (GSE) from lobbying or contributing money to PACs. The bill should also prohibit direct and indirect contributions to any political campaign fund, political figure, company, charity or any organization in which a political figure has an active or passive interest. No federal money will be given to any organization involved in any political activity. The bill and resultant legislation must include authorization for enforcement and penalties for violations.
