Kirkland needs off-leash dog park

I enjoyed your article about having a new off-leash doggie park in Kirkland. I too am tired of driving to Marymoor or Shoreline.

What can Kirkland dog lover’s do to tell the “people who run Kirkland” that we are really in favor a new park? Is there a paw-tition out there? It is a great idea and Juanita Bay Park would be fantastic or Crestwoods Park. There are so many high-end dog stores in Kirkland. Maybe they could help to sponsor a bill to get it moving along.
