Jessica is what the Kirkland City Council greatly needs, without her your needs as a citizen of Kirkland are not guaranteed to be heard.
I have worked with the Kirkland City Council on issues concerning Kirkland citizens for over four years.
From personal experience, whether it is addressing the council at a meeting or waiting for a council member phone call to be returned (I’m still waiting), Jessica stays on top of the issues and makes you feel important and heard.
I can’t say that for any other council member other than Dave Asher.
Most of the council members have agendas, and I have found them to be silently incompatible with what is best for Kirkland citizens, such as the increased traffic on Market Street because of their decision to narrow Central Way to one lane, or leasing two park-like settings, city-owned lake front properties in Kirkland for $150 per month.
Yes this is true.
Or approving all the new condo projects in downtown, with no plan to keep the downtown charm of our city. It is now gone, only to be replaced with brown, beige and box architecture reminiscent of a Stalin Russia … and where are those council members now that approved all the change?
Please vote for Jessica, especially if you plan on living in Kirkland.
