I want to strongly support Councilman Bob Sternoff for reelection to the Kirkland City Council.

Mr. Sternoff has served Kirkland with distinction first as a member and chair of the Park Board and then as a member of the Kirkland City Council.He represents our city in numerous regional activities, but his real contribution is his strong hand on the tiller as a member of the council.

He was an advocate of annexing the new area of Kirkland, which was long overdue, and has consistently worked to restrain the growth of the city  budget.

As chair of the Public Safety Committee, he is responsible for ensuring that this paramount duty of the city is carried out with the well-being of the citizenry in mind.

The best evidence of this is the public’s perception that Kirkland is a safe city as evidenced by several polls.

Please join me in voting for the reelection of an intelligent, committed public servant.
