Underscoring its commitment to promote from within the company, Anthony’s Restaurants has promoted Mary Beth (“MB”) Nance from dining room manager of Chinook’s at Salmon Bay to general manager of Anthony’s HomePort in Kirkland.

Nance began with Anthony’s 14 years ago as an assistant manager, and joined the company with past management experience. Nance has been continuously guided by Chinook’s former manager Steve Funk, now a regional manager, as well as Dean Paglialunga, current Chinook’s at Salmon Bay general manager. Funk noted Nance demonstrated tremendous growth with Anthony’s, and has become a very strong General Manager.

“MB is one of those people you want in your corner,” Paglialunga said. “She is always there for her employees, always does the right thing for the guest and keeps things fair and enjoyable always.”

Nance credits Funk and Paglialunga for growing as a manager and developing the strengths needed to take the next step as general manager. She said she is excited to grow with the Kirkland restaurant.
