Kirkland resident Scott Neilson recently

Kirkland resident Scott Neilson recently launched FundBunch at www.fundbunch.com, a new company committed to making individuals and organizations more successful at fundraising.

FundBunch provides customers with an array of online tools designed to increase the effectiveness of their fundraising efforts. Among the tools is a “Fund Hub” – a site that customers can easily create, which allows them to promote their fundraising efforts and securely accept credit card contributions.

“FundBunch aims to provide individuals and small organizations access to the best fundraising resources and services available,” says Neilson, founder and CEO. “These services were previously available to only the largest organizations and non-profits. But with FundBunch, anyone can easily create a Fund Hub to securely raise money for whatever cause is important to them – whether it’s their local school, a friend in need, a favorite charity, or a local public office.” campaign. The causes that FundBunch customers can support are unlimited.”

Neilson said so far, FundBunch clients range from Kirkland City Council candidates managing their online contributions, to small nonprofit organizations.

In addition to the open access to customers, FundBunch is unique in its commitment to their customers’ success. Beyond the Fund Hub capability, FundBunch customers are provided resources to actively drive contributors to their site Those resources include a “Refer a Friend” email engine, widgets to link to external sites and social network integration, promotional flier and press release templates, as well as access to best practices in the FundBunch Success Center.

“To this point, the mindset is that online fundraising simply consists of being able to accept contributions online,” says Neilson. “Services and best practices offered by FundBunch will help our customers transform themselves from ‘fund-accepters’ back into ‘fundraisers’.”

According to Neilson, anyone within the United States can create a secure Fund Hub for free in just a few minutes. For their Fund Hub, customers can set a goal, select a personalized web address, include a compelling message to potential contributors, and upload a picture to their site. They can then choose to recognize contributors by displaying their name on the site, allow visitors to post positive comments on a message board, and follow the progress towards reaching the goal.

Contributors get the convenience of being able to easily contribute to a cause important to them –without having to dig out their checkbook, find a stamp and mail in their money. Contributors also benefit from the added peace of mind that their information is safe and secure. All payments processed through Fund Hubs are protected with industry-leading technologies and protocols, such as 128-bit Secure Sockets Layers.  The payment processing technology is compliant with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS), which is a set of comprehensive requirements developed by major card brands to facilitate the adoption of consistent data security measures.

“Giving money to a cause should not be work,” affirms Neilson. “FundBunch’s online payment processing system makes it easy while giving contributors full confidence that their information is safe.”

Unlike competitors, FundBunch does not charge setup or monthly fees. Instead, FundBunch assesses a small fee as a percentage of each contribution received. According to Neilson, “I’m truly excited to be a part of a company where our success is dependent upon the success of our customers. Successful relationships are built when your interests are perfectly aligned with your customers.”

Fund Hubs are created every day to raise funds for student organizations, local and national charities, friends and family members in need, benevolent accounts, memorials, election campaigns, and other causes.
