Downtown Kirkland merchants present proceeds to three non-profits

Last holiday season, a group of downtown Kirkland merchants, led by “A” Liengboonlertchai, owner of Simplicity Décor, came together to assist three local non-profits with the Days of Giving project.

As a result, Liengboonlertchai and his fellow merchants presented checks to the representatives from Hopelink, MEOW Cat Rescue and Kirkland Teen Union Building Tuesday at Simplicity Décor store on Park Lane.

A total of $3,600 was donated to the local non-profit organizations to support their work in the community.

“I would like to thanks all participating merchants, Kirkland Downtown Association, three participating non-profit organizations and all Eastside residents who supported this project last year. I hope to continue this project and to see more participants so we may raise more money to help more people in need this year” said Liengboonlertchai.
The following merchants participated in this event: Simplicity Décor, Herban Wellness, Bella Tesori, Bella Bambini, Lai Thai Restaurant, Simplicity Salon, Ragamoffin, Lakeshore Gallery, Soul Ease Spa, Park Lane Gallery, uBRDO, Romax Shoes, Mu Shoe, Howard Mandville Gallery, Linda Lu’s Consignment Boutique and Acupuncture & Chiropractic Integrative Clinic.
