Annual Turkey Trot 5K run and walk in Kirkland, Nov. 22

Hopelink’s 15th annual Turkey Trot 5K family fun run and walk is a fun and festive pre-Thanksgiving tradition in Kirkland.

This year’s event will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Nov. 22, beginning at Marina Park.

Join more than 1,000 families and individuals – and even puppies – who get together every year to have fun and raise money to help low-income families, seniors and children in north and east King County.

The course follows the shores of Lake Washington from Marina Park to Carillon Point and back.

Money raised will provide emergency services during the winter months.

The cost to join is $25-40, which goes to Hopelink.
