Appalled that I have to pay for Kirkland roads | LETTER

As a recent reluctant immigrant into the City of Kirkland, I’m appalled at the notion that I’m going to have to help pay to fix roads that Kirkland has not bothered to maintain.

How many more promises made to those of us formerly-known-as-King-County-residents are going to be broken?
