A para surfer takes advantage of high winds on Lake Washington in Juanita Bay. Winds on the Kirkland waterfront were clocked at 60 miles per hour Friday afternoon.

Many people were out on Kirkland beaches Friday afternoon taking advantage of winds that reached 60 miles per hour. One para surfer, who was aided by the wind, flew into the air an estimated 80 feet.
