The Bothell High School baseball team scored three runs during its final at-bat on Wednesday against Skyline, but it wasn’t enough to avoid a 6-5 loss.
The Cougars fell behind 5-1 by the middle of the fifth inning.
Connor Walker blasted a home run and had a double during the contest for the Cougars and starting pitcher Brandon Lane took the loss despite only giving up two earned runs through five innings while striking out five batters.
