Ludwig strikes out 12 in Kang win | Prep baseball

It is hard to win in baseball if the batters can’t hit the ball. That was the Bellevue High School baseball team’s problem during a 4-0 loss to Lake Washington on Monday.

Kang starting pitcher Nick Ludwig compiled 12 strikeouts during a complete game shutout win. Ludwig’s performance was aided by 20 first-pitch strikes.

At the plate, Matt Scheffler, Kyle DePartee and Connor Johnson all picked up an RBI.
