Commuters should expect traffic delays due to the 12K’s of Christmas Holiday Run event to be held on Sunday, Dec. 20. Several roads will be closed from 9:20 a.m. until the final athlete finishes at approximately 11:40 a.m., including the intersection of Market Street, Central Way, Lake Shore Plaza and Lake Avenue West; south and northbound lanes of Market Street from Waverly Way to Central Way; and Waverly Way from Market Street to Sixth Street West.

Both directions of traffic will be closed around the clock until June 4.
