Peter Kirk Elementary students offer hope for Haiti relief

Four 5th graders who attend Peter Kirk Elementary School recently decided on their own to raise money for the Haitian relief efforts.

Rileigh Thompson, Kaitly Heindel, Lexi Enstrom and Mackenna Thompson donned their Red Cross “Hope for Haiti” T-shirts and spent five hours walking the neighborhood around their school, asking for donations door to door. They raised $377.30.
