Kirkland resident helps softball team to second place at Western World Series

Kirkland resident MacKenzie Burke helped the Elite Diamonds girls fastpitch 12U team finish second in the B Division of the NSA Western World Series Tournament held in Snohomish County.

The team also finished in first place in USSSA State and fourth place in NSA State.

Elite Diamonds, based out of Rijo Athletics in Woodinville, will be holding tryouts July 24-25 for next season.
