Kids of all ages enjoyed the sprinkler park at Lee Johnson Field in downtown Kirkland Thursday afternoon.

Sprinkler Park Thursdays is put on by the City of Kirkland Parks and Community Services Department and runs each week from noon to 3 p.m., through Aug. 17 at the field, located at 202 3rd St.

The free event for all ages features a variety of sprinklers for everyone to enjoy and cool off from the heat.

Temperatures Thursday afternoon reached the low 90s.

All ages are welcome and children 10 and younger must be supervised by an adult.
