LW boys soccer notches 3A KingCo wins

Lake Washington’s boys soccer team has booted itself to the top of the 3A KingCo table alongside Mercer Island.

Both squads sport 3-0 records.

In Friday’s 2-1 win over Interlake, Alex Lundin and Arturo Lomeli scored goals off assists from Baptiste Debuire and Braydon Chang.

The Kangs beat Redmond, 3-2, on March 21 with goals from Tom Veldee, Debuire and Lomeli (penalty kick). Debuire added an assist.

In the Kangs’ league opener on March 18, they defeated Sammamish, 7-1.

Goals were from Paul Skorupa (two), Edgar Iniguez, Chang, Jackson Fox, Debuire and Lomeli. Fox had three assists, Iniguez had two and Lundin, Conor Knox and Chang had one each.

• Juanita is 1-1-1 in league with a 3-1 win over Bellevue and a 1-1 draw with Liberty.
