Kirkland’s MEOW awarded grant to fund free spay/neuter surgeries

The Handsel Foundation has awarded MEOW Cat Rescue a $10,000 grant to help fund spay/neuter surgeries for those in the extended community.

This is on the heels of a grant from the Washington Federation of Animal Care and Control Agencies that MEOW received last year, which funded 220 spay and neuter surgeries.

Funds are available for feral or free-roaming cats, cats belonging to anyone needing financial assistance, and cats who qualify for the Toms & Moms program.
