EvergreenHealth CEO to give commencement address for LWTech

Lake Washington Institute of Technology (LWTech)will welcome Robert Malte, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of EvergreenHealth, to deliver the 2016 commencement address at 2 p.m. on June 17 at the Lynnwood Convention Center.

Eight hundred students are expected to graduate from LWTech this year.

Malte has been the CEO of EvergreenHealth in Kirkland since April 2010, and is responsible for the leadership of all aspects of EvergreenHealth’s purpose, mission and vision. He serves on several area boards, including the Washington State Hospital Association Board, the First Choice Health Board, the Greater Kirkland Chamber of Commerce Board, Kirkland Rotary and LWTech’s President’s Advisory Council. He also serves as a member of the University of Washington’s MBA Program Advisory Committee, and on the Seattle Executive Steering Committee for the American Heart and Stroke Association Heart Walk, including being co-chair for the 2016 Heart Walk.
