Kirkland police, U.S. Marshalls arrest suspect in domestic violence standoff

Matthew Gordon as arrested around 11:30 a.m. by Kirkland police and the U.S. Marshalls in Sammamish after last Friday’s standoff in a Kirkland neighborhood.

Gordon was arrested on felony warrants for first and second-degree domestic violence assault, domestic violence felony harassment and unlawful possession of a firearm. Officers found him inside a parked vehicle on private property near 228th Avenue Southeast and Southeast 4th Street.

He is being held on $250,000 bail.

Multiple guns, body armor and unspecified military and surveillance equipment were found in Gordon’s house at 13717 116th Avenue Northeast in Kirkland following a standoff with police in which he slipped away from the house.
