Lake Washington High School football team players will be helping out at the Kirkland Kiwanis Christmas tree lot at Juanita Beach Park from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday.

“We are pretty excited to get the team involved with Kiwanis,” said Kiwanis member Bonni Sundberg.

Since 1971, the club has sold Christmas trees, wreaths, gourmet nuts and Sees Candy, with all funds going to support children in the Kirkland community.

The lot will stay open until Dec. 21 or until the trees are gone. Tree lot hours will be 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.
