The City of Kirkland Parks Department has requested a permit for the Phase I redevelopment of Juanita Beach Park Master Plan. Prior to the planning director’s decision, the public may submit written comments by 5 p.m. Sept. 11. The redevelopment project includes construction of a shoreline pedestrian promenade with a seat wall, pedestrian pathways, new picnic shelters, parking lot reconfiguration, creation of an oxbow marsh wetland area, bridge replacement and rehabilitation of Juanita Creek.
