The following is a release from King County Boys & Girls Club:
Jane Hague continues to be a dynamic force helping improve the lives of children through her tireless efforts on behalf of the Boys & Girls Clubs of King County. We recognize Jane for her commitment and service on behalf of the young Club members across the county.
Jane has chaired the annual KidsAuction and delivered 14 Metro vans for transportation to various Clubs. Jane along with her husband, Ed Springman has lead major gifts and fundraising challenges at numerous events. This year’s KidsAuction, was one of our most successful events raising over $900,000. Hague and Springman motivated KidsAuction attendees by challenging them to contribute at a higher level which helped achieve this record.
“Jane is an invaluable friend of the Club. She and Ed have been long-time supporters because they truly believe in providing a safe place for members. In addition, the clubs provide an opportunity to learn, grow, increase academic success and healthy lifestyles,” said Calvin Lyons, President/CEO of Boys & Girls Clubs of King County. “We’re honored to have their commitment to support our Club members. They are heroes and set an example for others to follow in their communities.”
