Kirkland couple celebrates first baby of the New Year at Overlake Hospital in Bellevue

Overlake Hospital in Bellevue welcomed its first baby of 2011 on Jan. 1.

Baby boy Sharoban Mandal was born at 1:58 a.m. on Jan. 1 to Kirkland parents Sarbendu Mandal and Sumana Sikdar. The couple’s first baby, Sharoban weighed 8.8 pounds and was 20 inches long.

Overlake’s Childbirth Center marked the happy occasion with a special

gift basket for the family that included an assortment of newborn

clothes, toys and accessories.
