Kirkland City Manager restores faith in government responsiveness | LETTER

I recently had occasion to contact Kurt Triplett, city manager for the City of Kirkland, about a minor traffic issue. I was expecting the typical bureaucratic non-responsiveness. Instead, Mr. Triplett was back to me, with a responsive email, within an hour.

Way to go Mr. Triplett! You have restored my faith in the responsiveness of local government.

I’m sure Mr. Triplett cannot be as responsive as this on all issues but it was a pleasant surprise to receive this sort of treatment.
