Submit nominations for the Kirkland CACHET Awards

The Kirkland Cultural Arts Commission is seeking nominations for the 2014 CACHET Awards. Sue Contreras accepted a CACHET Award from Major Joan McBride in 2013 for her efforts in fundraising for the restoration of the Capt. Anderson Ferry Clock and for her volunteer support of Summerfest.

Help recognize a business, organization or person who has made a significant contribution to the Kirkland arts, culture and heritage community during 2013 by nominating them for the Kirkland CACHET Award.

Submit nominations for the Kirkland Collaboration of Arts, Culture, Heritage, Education and Theater Award by noon on Feb. 14.

The Kirkland Cultural Arts Commission and Mayor’s CACHET Award recognizes a business, organization, or individual who exemplifies the spirit of CACHET by fostering a vibrant Arts, Culture, and/or Heritage community in the city of Kirkland.

Nomination forms are available at Kirkland City Hall at 123 5th Avenue, can be downloaded here, or requested by emailing tophoshko@kirklandwa.gov. Eligibility and Award Criteria, as well as details on the Selection Process are included on the nomination form.

The awards ceremony will be held on April 2 at the Kirkland Performance Center located at 350 Kirkland Ave, Kirkland.
