Juanita loses to Mount Si during KingCo tournament | Prep girls softball

The Juanita High School girls softball team lost to Mount Si Friday, 6-4, at Hartman Park in Redmond during the KingCo tournament.

The Rebels Scored first with a run during the top of the first inning and managed to stay just ahead of the Wildcats, holding a 4-3 lead by the end of the third inning.

But Mount Si took control during the fifth inning, scoring one run to tie the game and then two more runs during the sixth to win the game.

Madi Hedlund, Lisa Nelson and Aimee Richardson each collected two hits during the game. Milly Kawabata threw a complete game, striking out four batters, but took the loss.
