Kangs to take on Ellensburg Thursday during Elite Eight | Prep girls basketball

The Lake Washington High School girls basketball team will take on Ellensburg at 12:15 p.m. on Thursday at the Sun Dome in Yakima during the Elite Eight.

The Kangs earned the seeding with a 51-44 victory against Sumner in Puyallup on Friday.

Lake Washington has exceeded expectations this postseason. The win against Sumner pushed the team’s record to 13-12.
