Foshee shutout leads Kangs past Bellevue | Prep baseball

The Lake Washington High School baseball team shutout Bellevue, 6-0, on Monday in Bellevue.

The Kangs gave starting pitcher Colton Foshee four runs during the top of the first and he did the rest, throwing a complete game shutout, striking out six batters and allowing just four hits and one walk for the win.

Jake Steele and Tom Scheffler each collected two RBI during the game for Lake Washington, while Connor Johnson had one RBI. Steele, Johnson, Scheffler and Austin Lively each finished with two hits.

The Kangs will return to the field at Lake Washington High School at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday to take on crosstown rival Juanita.
