Seven Northwest University athletes earn Conference Scholar-Athlete Honors

Seven Northwest University student-athletes were among the 89 Cascade Collegiate Conference student-athletes in men’s and women’s basketball earning U.S. Bank Academic All-CCC honors for their performances in the classroom, the conference office announced on Jan. 21.

The Northwest University scholar-athletes recognized are:

Women:

• Jordan Asher, Senior, Puyallup, Wash., Business Administration
• Paige Burson, Sophomore, Cottonwood, Calif., Education
• Kristen Frey, Junior, Lynden, Wash., Education
• Chanara Greene, Graduate, Lake Stevens, Wash., MBA

Men:

• Nikola Djokovic, Senior, Belgrade, Serbia, Business Administration
• Nemanja Grujicic, Graduate, Ratkovo, Serbia, MBA
• Thomas Jordan, Senior, Pasadena, Calif., Communication

To earn recognition as a CCC scholar-athlete, a student must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.2 and sophomore standing.
