The Lake Washington Kangaroos (0-5) kept it close in the first half, but the Bellevue Wolverines (3-2) were able to pull away for a 42-21 win on Oct. 4.

After falling behind 7-0 in the second quarter, Lake Washington wide receiver Evan Liggett caught a touchdown pass to even the game up at halftime. Liggett had a big night, catching all three touchdown passes in the losing effort. The Wolverines would put up 35 points in the second half to hand Lake Washington its fifth loss of the season. Lake Washington will look to snap its losing streak when the Kangs host the Liberty Patriots (5-0) at 7 p.m. Oct. 11.
