Hundreds of Kirklanders rang in the New Year by taking a plunge at the Polar Bear Plunge at Kirkland’s Marina Park. The 17th annual event brought together residents as they braved the cold to ring in the New Year. The unofficial event has become a yearly tradition where attendees jump into Lake Washington.
