Many people attended the “Welcome to Kirkland” event hosted by the Juanita Neighborhood Association on Saturday.

The event, which took place at Heritage Hall in downtown Kirkland, featured food, music and various dance groups.

The event also coincided with National Welcoming Week and Eastside Welcoming Week, which began Friday and runs through Sunday.
