Lake Washington Institute of Technology in Kirkland changes schedule due to weather

The Lake Washington Institute of Technology (LWTech) has announced that all classes have been canceled for today, Monday, Feb. 6 due to inclement weather.

LWTech officials also closed the Early Learning Center and canceled its Board of Trustees meeting planned for Monday evening.

A winter storm warning from the national weather service in effect until 4 p.m. today. The Kirkland area is expected to pick up several inches of snow.

The Lake Washington School District and several private schools in Kirkland have also been closed for the day.
