A map provided by the City of Kirkland shows what part of the Cross Kirkland Corridor will be closed Jan. 30-Feb. 2. Contributed art

From Jan. 30 through Feb. 2, there will be a complete closure of the Cross Kirkland Corridor (CKC) in Totem Lake.

Crews will be drilling for soil exploration along the CKC to provide information to the design engineers on a future Totem Lake Connector Bridge, which is currently in the early phase of design.

The drilling will occur on the CKC between 120th Avenue NE and 128nd Avenue NE. The trail will be completely closed to pedestrians and bicyclists in this area.

Please use extreme caution and observe all signs. For more information, contact CKC Coordinator Kari Page at kpage@kirklandwa.gov or 425-587-3011.
