Northwest U’s Ferguson named CCC Outdoor Track Athlete of the Week

Northwest University’s Jonathan Ferguson has been named the Red Lion Men’s Outdoor Track Athlete of the Week.

Ferguson, a senior form Pleasant Hill, Ore., competing in his first outdoor meet of the season, ran a NAIA “B” qualifying time in the 1500m at the Lewis & Clark Spring Break Open, No. 2 in the NAIA thus far. Jonathan was the top NAIA runner competing against a majority of NCAA Division I and II competition, 46 runners in all.

This is Ferguson second athlete of the week award this year as he was named indoor track athlete of the week on February 15.
