Kirkland resident honored by WSU

Kirkland resident Bailey Johnson was honored at an invitation only event on Feb. 29 at Washington State University for her academic achievement in her first semester.

She achieved a GPA of 3.93 in her first year of nursing studies at WSU. She is a 2015 graduate of LWHS where she excelled in gymnastics placing in the top 25 gymnasts in the state. She also placed third at state in pole vaulting during her senior year at Lake Washington High School.

Johnson said she would eventually like to be an independent nurse practitioner (ARNP).
