Juanita defense too much for Lake Washington | Prep girls basketball

The Juanita High School girls basketball team defeated Lake Washington, 67-38, on Wednesday at home in Kirkland.

The two teams started out shooting basket-for-basket with just one point separating the two teams at the end of the first quarter. But Juanita would take over during the second and third quarters, outscoring the Kangs 37-8.

Individual scoring was not reported.
