Beacons strong second half downs Northwest U | College women’s basketball

Northwest Christian broke a 40-40 halftime tie, outscoring the host team, Northwest University, 32-21, in the second half to post a 72-61 conference victory Friday night.
Senior Jordan Asher led Northwest University (7-10, 3-5 CCC) with 12 points and 9 rebounds. Brianna Fiso would drop in 7 points and grab a team high 10 rebounds. The Eagles were cold from the 3-point line managing to make just two of 19 attempts from beyond the arc for 10.5 percent.
