Juanita clobbers Mercer Island by 10 | Prep softball

The Juanita High School girls softball team defeated Mercer Island, 11-1, on Friday in Kirkland.

The Rebels Madi Hedlund earned the win by throwing a complete game two hitter, giving one unearned run and striking out nine batters.

Aimee Richardson led the Rebels by going 3-for-3 with a double at the plate, and Brynn Radke finished with a double.

Juanita will host Sammamish today at 4:30 p.m.
