Lake Washington defeats Sammamish | Prep softball

The Lake Washington High School girls softball team defeated Sammamish, 10-1, on Monday.

Starting pitcher Maddie Brown earned the complete-game victory despite giving up just three hits and walking nine. However, it was Brown’s performance at the plate that was the biggest surprise, as she bashed a home run and went 4-for-4 with three RBI. Hannah Steele finished 2-for-3 with an RBI and two runs scored for the Kangs.

The Kangs will play again at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday in Bellevue, as they take on Interlake.
