Juanita’s season ends with loss to Prairie | Prep girls basketball

The Juanita High School girls basketball team’s season came to an end Saturday with a slim 57-55 loss to Prairie.

The two teams played close during the first quarter, separated by just one point. But Pairie took a five-point lead into halftime.

That lead was extended to 42-33 entering the fourth quarter.

The Rebels refused to go quietly during the final eight minutes, as they to within just on possession of their opponents.

Juanita was led by Tea Adams with 22 points and Jaisa Nunn with 19 points. Natalie Kalda finished with nine points.

The Rebels finish the season with a 13-14 overall record.
