Kirkland’s Main Street and Park Lane to be closed Thursday morning

Kirkland’s Park Lane improvements contractor is closing the downtown intersection of Main Street and Park Lane to automobile traffic, from 7 a.m., Thursday to early Friday morning while it connects Park Lane’s new water main to two water mains beneath Main Street.

The contractor is also connecting each of Park Lane’s businesses this week to the new water main. It expects to finish making those connections by the end of this week. It expects to finish installing the water main by the first second week March.
