Juanita loses to Bellevue during the Sea-King tournament final | Prep girls basketball

The Juanita High School girls basketball team lost to Bellevue, 57-50, on Saturday at Bellevue College during the 3A Sea-King tournament final.

The score stayed close during the first quarter as Bellevue held a slim two-point lead heading into the second period. Juanita grabbed the lead before half time, 34-32, but the Wolverines would tie the game heading into the final eight minutes of play.

But the fourth quarter was all Bellevue, 14-5, as the Wolverines clinched the tournament title.

Team Adams led the Rebels with 18 points, while teammate Jaisa Nunn scored 14 points.

Despite the loss, Juanita will pl;ay during the regional round this week for a chance to advance to state.
