Northwest University’s Grujicic named CCC Player of the Week

Northwest University’s Nemanja Grujicic has been named the Cascade Conference Men’s Basketball Player of the Week as announced by the league office Monday.

Grujicic, a 6-foot-8 senior forward from Ratkovo, Serbia, made important plays scoring 20 points and grabbing 10 rebounds in the NU win over No. 17 Southern Oregon on Friday and played a key role in the victory over Oregon Tech on Saturday. He averaged 18 points with eight rebounds on the weekend. It was his first games back after sitting out the Evergreen game with a concussion.
