The Lake Washington Symphony Orchestra will give its spring concert “Pictures at an Exhibition” at 3 p.m. on March 8 at the Kirkland Performance Center. The program will include Weber’s Euryanthe, the Bruch Scottish Fantasy for violin and orchestra featuring internationally acclaimed violinist Elisa Barston, and Mussorgsky’s Pictures at an Exhibition.
To complement Mussorgsky’s work, the Ryan James Fine Arts Gallery will host an exhibition of the paintings of contemporary artist Scott Wallin. The paintings are from his Particle Track Series, and were influenced by photographic images taken at particle accelerator facilities.
Tickets are $30 general admission, $25 for seniors and $15 for students. Children aged 12 and under are free.
Spring concert tickets are available now through Kirkland Performance Center http://www.kpcenter.org/performances/pictures-at-an-exhibition.
The Kirkland Performance Center is located at 350 Kirkland Ave in Kirkland.
