Mercer Island beats Lake Washington by 30 | Prep girls basketball

The Lake Washington High School girls basketball team lost to Mercer Island, 67-37, on Wednesday.

The Islanders outscored Lake Washington 14-5 during the first quarter and continued to build on that lead through the rest of the contest.

Sydney Shepard of Lake Washington led all scorers with 18 points.
