Kirkland City Council to discuss North Kirkland Fire Station siting during Jan. 20 meeting

The Kirkland City Council will receive an update on the North Kirkland Fire Station siting study at its regular meeting on Jan. 20. Staff will be presenting maps and data that show how the proposed station sites impact response times and call volumes for the northern portion of the city. The public is invited to attend the meeting which starts at 7:30 p.m. at City Hall in the Council Chamber and to address the City Council during the “Items from the Audience” portion of the meeting.

A staff report will be available by 5 p.m. on Friday at www.kirklandwa.gov (Search: Agendas). Citizen comments are welcome at the meeting or by email at citycouncil@kirklandwa.gov.

Kirkland citizens can also watch the meeting live or rebroadcast on Kirkland’s cable television station “KGOV” on Comcast Channel 21 or Frontier 31. You can also stream it from the City’s On Demand page at www.kirklandwa.gov/tv (Select: On Demand Programming)
