Kirkland school’s team wins first place at Math is Cool Masters Competition

The Kamiakin Middle School seventh grade team from its math club finished first in their division at the Math is Cool Masters in the Elite Division on Dec. 6 at Moses Lake.

Team members are Kelly Chen, Annie Denton, Sanjana Sitaraman and Miranda Zhang. Kelly Chen also won the individual award for the highest score in her division.
