Juanita blown out by Mercer Island | Prep girls basketball

The Juanita High School girls basketball team was blown out by Mercer Island, 73-46, Tuesday on Mercer Island.

The Islanders nearly doubled up the Rebels during the first quarter, 20-11, but Juanita recovered, trailing by just 13 points heading into the final quarter of play.

But the final eight minutes belonged to Mercer Island, 24-10.

Tea Adams led the Rebels with 14 points, while Natalie Kalda scored 12 and Jaisa Nunn put in 10.
